Implementing a warehouse management system is one of the most important operational decisions a business can make. At Supplysoft, our implementation process for the Infios K.Motion Edge WMS and add-on modules is designed to reduce go-live risk, accelerate time-to-value, and ensure long-term user adoption as the business scales.
We lead implementation projects with a core team of experts: a project manager, project coordinator, lead implementation consultant, backup consultant, and developer. This cross-functional structure ensures consistent communication, technical depth, business continuity, and rapid incident resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
Every engagement begins with discovery.
During the discovery phase, our team works closely with stakeholders across operations, IT, and leadership to understand your current workflows, pain points, business goals, and system requirements. This foundational step ensures the solution is aligned with how your warehouse truly operates.
Our goal is to become an extension of your team and gain a deep understanding of your business from every angle during this learning process so we can better prepare, anticipate road bumps before we hit them, and guide the project proactively rather than reactively.
Next is adaptation, where we configure and tailor the WMS and/or add-on modules and integrations to fit your processes, workflows, and reporting needs. Because no two operations are identical, the adapt phase is critical to creating a system that supports efficiency, scalability, and visibility from day one.
Before launch, we move through rigorous internal testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). The testing stage is essential to reduce go-live risk as much as possible. By validating workflows, transactions, integrations, and edge-case scenarios ahead of deployment, we help prevent disruptions and ensure confidence across teams.
Once the system is validated, we provide structured training to empower end users, supervisors, and administrators. Strong training drives better adoption for users who are less excited about implementing changes in their workflow, shortens the learning curve, and helps teams realize operational improvements faster.
The final phase is deployment, where our team manages the go-live process with precision and hands-on support to ensure a smooth transition.
Our goal for every implementation is to deliver a successful go-live with minimal disruption, and to provide a strong foundation for long-term warehouse performance as operations scale.
To manage project timelines and communications, our team uses a project management tool with an access portal for clients to view their project(s) status, open project log tickets, track communication related to each project, and more.
If you’re evaluating the undertaking of a WMS initiative, Supplysoft provides the process, people, and expertise to help you move forward with confidence.
